Ronald Swem

Ronald Leroy Swem, aged 58, of Seneca, Missouri, passed away on October 5, 2023. He was born on August 9, 1965, in Denver, Colorado, to his parents, Melvin Leroy Swem and Lynn Jones Swem. 

Ronald's educational journey took him through Seneca High School, and he furthered his education with studies at Crowder College. His career was marked by versatility, as he excelled as a diesel mechanic, truck driver, and worked at a concrete and lumber company. Ronald was a member of the Racine Christian Church. 








His love for the outdoors defined much of his life. He enjoyed the freedom of riding motorcycles, the tranquility of being in nature, and the simple joys of fishing, camping, and grilling. Ronald cherished the opportunity to visit with loved ones. 

Ronald Leroy Swem is survived by his daughter Lola Swem of Seneca and his son Alex Marion of Ritchey, Missouri, He welcomed Tyler Walton as a stepson, who resides in Kansas City, Missouri. Tyler's mother Mandy Walton has been Ronald's partner for the last 17 years. Ronald's brothers, Andy Swem, Jay (Dianne) Swem, and his mother, Lynn Swem, all of Seneca, shared a special bond with him. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Leroy Swem.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri. Graveside services to celebrate Ronald's life will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri.








Ronald Leroy Swem will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
