March 11, 1939 - January 12, 2016
Ret. TSGT Charles “Butch” Sours went to meet his beautiful wife, Pam on Tuesday, January 12, 2016.
After 22 years of loyal service in the United States Air Force, he retired as a ground radio operation supervisor with nine medals, badges, and honors.
He is survived by one son; Charlie Wayne, four daughters; Angela, Jennie, Debra and husband Mark, and Nikol, three brothers; Jim, Mike, Tony, five sisters; Judy, Linda L., Carol M., Phyllis, Linda S., Carol H., eight grandchildren; Tabitha, CJ, Katlyn, Elizabeth, Austin, Cody, Adriana, and Caleb, two great grandchildren; Jerimiah and Ava, extended family; Doug Henson, best friend and business partner, Bob Zimmerman and all his cronies at the flea market, and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Dennis.
Butch was loved by many friends and family members, and will be remembered for his gruff exterior, sense of humor, and oversized warm heart. He will be greatly missed.
At his request, there will be no formal services. The family requests contributions in his memory be sent in his name to the Disabled American Veterans.
