Marshall M. Lett, age 86, of Pineville, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.
He was born on September 27, 1929 in Goodman, Missouri to the late Elza Earl and Mary Jane (Laughlin) Lett. He was a self-employed well driller. Marshall married the love of his life, Elizabeth Ann Bone on April 17, 1948 in Pineville, Missouri. They were able to travel extensively. Marshall cherished time spent with his family. He had attended the Valley View Church in Pineville, Missouri.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Lett of the home; four sons, Steven Lett of Joplin, Missouri, Bruce Lett, Roger Lett and Dennis Lett all of Pineville, Missouri; two sisters, Alma Smith of Kansas City, Missouri, Carol Lowe of Carthage, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Marshall.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. The family will receive friends at this time. Memorial contributions in loving memory of Marshall may be given to the Shriners Children Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri in care of the funeral home.
