Donna Peterson

Donna Jane Peterson, 72 years, of Neosho, Missouri was called to heaven on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Granby House in Granby, Missouri.

She was born on December 24, 1943 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Donald and Jane (Johnson) Goodnight. She was raised in the San Francisco, San Rafael, Santa Rosa and Petaluma, California area. Donna married the love of her life, Robert L. Peterson on March 26, 1966 in Reno, Nevada. She was a Hotel breakfast hostess and cooked for Springfield Rehabilitation for many years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and was an overall good people person. Donna was saved and God has a special place prepared in Heaven for people like her that loved and gave so much good spirit to all around her.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Robert L. Peterson; two sons, Barry Peterson and wife, Janet of Granby, Missouri, Jeff Garza and wife, Teresa Perez of Olathe, Kansas; two sisters, Wanda Tarr of Bolivar, Missouri, Peggy Bush of Sebastopol, California; four grandchildren; Katlyn Peterson, Jessica Divine, Kristina Peterson and Grant Garza; a great grandchild, William Bronc Divine; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Donna.

Funeral service for Donna Peterson will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Tony Jemes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Stella, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
