Susie Russow, 84, passed away at her home in Carthage, Missouri January 12, 2016,
Susie was born in Seymour, Missouri February 4, 1931 to Charley and Lida (Hargis) Matney. Susie was a lifelong Carthage resident and was a cook for Carthage R-9 schools for 22 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star # 93 Eminence Chapter of Carthage.
Susie was united in marriage to John E. Russow March 29, 1947 he preceded her in death August 7, 2013. Susie is survived by one son John L. Russow of Carthage, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Susie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Patricia K. Russow Trent in 1995, two sisters Marie and Mildred, and two brothers Luther and Raymond.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday January 18, 2016 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday January 17, 2016 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Shrine Club Local Travel Fund in care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
