Maxine Richards, 89, Stark City, MO died January 26, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. Maxine, was born April 14, 1926 in Boulder City, Missouri to George Landon Lewis and Ora (Hobson) Lewis. She worked at Granby Garment Factory and in the sewing department at La-Z-Boy Midwest for 20 years. She also worked in the Triway School cafeteria. She was a member of Granby Miracle Church for over 40 years. She married Clark Richards on December 2, 1943. Clark preceded her in death on February 23, 1996.
Maxine is survived by six children: Allan (Iris) Richards, Joplin, MO, Arleta Woods, Stark City, MO, Billy (Vicki) Richards, Fairview, MO, Karen (Jerry) Francisco, Nixa, MO, Cheryl (Jack) Brust, Carthage, MO, and Steve Richards, Fairview, MO.
Two brothers: Joe Lewis, Webb City, MO and John Lewis, Stella, MO. Three sisters: Georgia Lee Wisley, Centeridge, AR, Marlene Sanders, Granby, MO and Darlene Laughlin, Stella, MO. She is also survived by Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
