Ronald Leslie Chambers, 66, Neosho, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2016 while at his home in Neosho, following a short illness.
Ron was born October 3, 1949 in Joplin, the son of Charles D. and Clara Irene (Crellar) Chambers. He was a lifelong area resident and a driver for OATS. Ron enjoyed all types of cars, including his model cars and was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed cooking and meeting new friends, his love for dogs and animals was known throughout his family.
He married Kathy (Adams) on June 3, 1967 and she survives. Additional survivors include three children, Rebecca Lynn Gory of Trussville, AL; Tracy Lynn Chambers and Kelly Danner of Goodman, MO and Julie Branham and husband, Justin of Neosho; grandchildren, Nathan Gory, Brittnee Gory, Keaton Danner, Nicole Danner, Kiefer Lampo, Kinsley Branham and Kaiden Branham and a sister, Linda Peterson of Exeter. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Charles Chambers, a sister, Patricia Adams and a half brother, Don Loudermilk.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
