Leaford P. Greene, 81, of Carthage passed away January 2, 2016 at his home.
Leaford was born April 21, 1934 in Carthage, MO to Purl and Sylvia Greene. Leaford was a lifetime Carthage resident and was a truck driver for Tamko. Leaford served in the United States Army and was in the Korean War.
Leaford is survived by his children Shannon Greene and Russell Harmon both of Carthage and Julie Collings of Grove, OK and David Greene, Greg Greene, Mike Greene and Debbie Greene all of the state of Washington.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday January 8, 2015 at Park Cemetery, Carthage, MO with military honors. His grandsons Brandon Jones, Koltin Greene, Kyle Greene, Skylar Greene, Brandon Harmon and Sheldon Collings will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
