Judith Ann Moyer, age 75 of Safety Harbor, FL, formerly of Joplin, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Palm Harbor, FL.
Born August 9, 1940 in Cassville, MO, she was the daughter of Elmer and Ludema Brazda and graduated from Joplin High School. Primarily a loving wife and mother, she and her husband also co-owned and operated Superior Healthcare in Joplin. Judi was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Joplin Women's Club, the YWCA and the PEO Sisterhood, all in Joplin. She volunteered at the Alzheimer's Association of Southwest Missouri, the PTA at Kelsey Norman Elementary School and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She loved to travel, boating and motorcycle riding with her husband.
She married Charles Robert Moyer on August 15, 1958 in Joplin. He preceded her in death March 3, 2005. A son, Michael Robert Moyer, also preceded her in 1987.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Moyer and wife Diane; two granddaughters, Hayley and Ashley Moyer, all of Safety Harbor.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Parker Mortuary with Dr. Dave Burgess officiating. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers her friends may choose to make a donation to Suncoast Hospice in her memory.
