Violet Eugenia Wilson, 92, Neosho, died Jan. 13, 2016 at Seneca House in Seneca, following an extended illness.
Violet was born June 28, 1923 in Neosho, the daughter of James A. and Christeen (Bowling) Clark. She was a lifelong area resident and a homemaker. Violet enjoyed cooking, sewing and reading and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
She married Raymon Leo Wilson on Oct. 4, 1941 and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2003. She is survived by four children, James Wilson and wife, Beverlie of Neosho; Alma Jean Wilson-Strickland of Colorado; Donald Raymond Wilson and wife, Clara and Bobbie Allen Wilson and wife, Shellie Lea all of Neosho; one sister, Marcilea Freeman of Lebannon, OR; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
