Ruth J. Lee, 84, Reeds, MO joined her Lord and loved ones in Heaven Tuesday, January 26, 2016 following a long illness. Ruth Joan Cleveland was born July 27, 1931 in Sarcoxie, MO to the late Harry Walter Cleveland and Effie Mildred (Mitchell) Cleveland. Ruth married Ercle Thurman Lee on October 10, 1949 in Avilla, MO; he preceded her in death. Ruth was retired from Gilbert H. Wild in Sarcoxie, MO. She was a member of Blake Baptist Church near La Russell, MO.

Ruth is survived by two sons James Lee and wife Shirley, Reeds, MO and David Lee and wife Beverley, Reeds, MO. Three daughters Gloria Zerbonia and husband Danny, Sarcoxie, MO, Judy Lee, Reeds, MO and Stella Gorham, Joplin, MO. One son in law Jerry Law, Sarcoxie MO. One daughter in law Donna Lee, Greenfield, MO. One sister Dora Layton, Alba, MO. Three brothers Frank Cleveland, Reeds, MO, Pat Cleveland, Jasper, MO and Larry Cleveland, Anchorage, Alaska, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sons, Billy Lee and Thurman Lee, two daughters, Reba E. Law and Jayne Lee, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Minister Gary Wilkes will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Reeds Cemetery, Reeds, MO.
