Claude Lester McReynolds, age 56, Joplin, passed away at 4:44 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at his home after a long illness.
Claude was born August 24, 1959 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Thomas Charles McReynolds and Bernadine Vanatta McReynolds and had lived in Joplin most of his life.
He was a graduate of Parkwood High School and worked for Kenworth, Inc. for 25 years, retiring due to ill health. Claude loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all of them.
Claude married Tammy Eby in July of 2009 in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Dawn Daniel, Carthage, Rachel Bryson, Carl Junction; his siblings, Connie Marr, Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Joseph McReynolds, United Kingdom, James McReynolds, Burkburnett, Texas, Peggy McKissick, Lockford, Texas, Louis McReynolds, Joplin; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Vonda Bryson.
Services are planned for Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Ben Bainbridge will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
