Diane Sue Kirby, age 61, of Sheldon, Missouri, died January 7, 2016 at Freeman Hospital West after a short illness.
Diane was born July 10, 1954 at Miller, Missouri to Louis Wiley Estes an Elnora Gene (Mobley) Estes. She graduated from Miller High School. She married Kenneth Stockton and together they had five children. They later divorced and he passed away in 2006. In November 1993, she married Robert Kirby at Jerico Springs, Missouri. She had worked at Thorco Industries and Super 8 Hotel, and most recently Truman Healthcare as a housekeeper. She attended Milford Christian Church and enjoyed fishing, cooking for her church and was a “Garage Sale Queen”. Diane’s family has decided to custom paint her casket as a tribute to her.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Kirby, of the home; two sons, Ricky Stockton and Michael (Candice) Stockton both of Lamar, Missouri; three daughters, Katie Cheek, Lamar, Missouri, Marry (Bobby) Boyle Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, and Sandy Stockton, Carl Junction, Missouri; two step-sons, Robert Dion Kirby and Dondi Dale (Chelsie) Kirby, both of Terrell, TX; one step-daughter Christy Kirby, Greenville, Texas; her mother Elnora Estes; one brother, Steve Estes; three sisters, Linda (Nick) Pennington, Donna Burton, and Judy (Gene) Gayer, all of Miller, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Louis Estes and one step-grandson.
Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Milford Christian Church with burial to follow at Greenfie Cemetery, Jerico Springs, Missouri.
