Carson Bunch

Carson Earl Bunch, 85, of Goodman passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He was born on February 27, 1935 near Cyclone, MO, the son of Thomas Lee Bunch and Lora Pearl Miller.

He enlisted in the Army shortly after his seventeenth birthday and was on the front lines in Korea engaged in active combat by October 1952. He celebrated his 18th birthday on the front lines and remained on the front lines until Armistice on July 27, 1953. 

He married Ann Luna on October 4, 1953. 








He also was a Mason, and held a master’s electrician license in Dallas, TX. He enjoyed horses, motorcycles, cars, dancing with Ann, and especially spending time with his family. He often could be found helping family or friends with projects as he was quite skilled in many trades.

He was a loving father, brother and grandfather and he will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers, Gene, Argel and Manville Bunch, and the love of his life Ann Bunch.

Carson is survived by his two sons, Douglas C. Bunch and wife Frances, and Thomas G. Bunch and wife Jamey all of Rogersville; one sister, Shirley Bunch; 6 grandchildren, Anna Leslie and her husband Brett, Cheryl Baxter, Sarah Guillory and her husband Emmett, Elizabeth Clark and her husband Preston, Joshua Bunch, and James Bunch and his wife Jordan; 14 great grandchildren, Patrick Leslie, Gwynn, Thomas, Julia, Brittany and Felicity Baxter, Ellie, John, Hannah and Maria Guillory, Carson, Kellen and Brody Clark, and McKenna Bunch.

Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery near Rogersville, MO. A private celebration of Carson’s life will occur on a later date.
