(From Knell Mortuary)Lola Jane Sloniker, 79, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Tuesday evening, January 19, 2021 at Carthage Health and Rehab, Carthage. Lola was born November 14, 1941 in Reeds, Missouri, the daughter of William Loyd Sloniker and Annie Elizabeth (Williams) Sloniker. She enjoyed being read to and looking through her magazines.
Survivors include two sisters, Fern Ladesic, Tonganoxie, Kansas, and Alberta Hefley, Knoxville, Arkansas; and many other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William L. “Bill” Sloniker, Jr., and Joseph A. Sloniker; and five sisters, Darlene Snyder, Maxine Long, Lucille Painter, Ellen Mae Sloniker, and Frances Fae Sloniker.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 pm, Friday, January 22, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage. Memorial gifts are suggested to Carthage Health and Rehab, Carthage in care of Knell Mortuary.
