(From Parker Mortuary)Sandra Kay Jackson, age 67, of Bates City, formerly of Joplin, passed away at home surrounded by family.
Sandra daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Augusta (Bennett) Jackson, was born on November 12, 1953 in Indiana.
She was united in marriage to Carl Richard Rice, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1987.
She attended the Central Christian Center and was previously employed in health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a devoted mother and was always caring for others. She enjoyed times spent with her family but enjoyed the opportunities spent with her grandchildren the most.
Survivors include her sons, Jason Buller, of Centerview, Stephen Buller, and his wife, Tamara, of Carterville, Carl Rice Jr., of Buffalo, Ricky Buller, of Aurora, David Beck, and his wife, Tracey, of Ohio, and William Beck, of Wyoming; daughters, Tracy Leonard, and her husband, Justin, of Bates City, and Tina Beck, of Buffalo; one brother, Thomas “Tom” Jackson, of Joplin; one sister, Donna Daniels, of Springdale; 15 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Duchess.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Anthony “Tony” Jackson; and one sister, Linda Harral.
