(From Knell Mortuary)Kelly Ray Shephard, 52, Reeds, Missouri, passed away early Monday morning, January 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. Kelly was born July 19, 1968 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Edward Shephard and Bertha (Bartosh) Shephard.
He loved animals, farming, gambling, and his family. He would do anything for family and was always willing to help the people he loved. Kelly was Christian by faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Tammy Little, Golden, Colorado, and Sandy DeYott (Bill), Helena, Montana; nieces and nephews, Jenny Little, Alex DeYott, and Joyce DeYott; and great-nephews, Kenyon Stevenson, and Hunter Stevenson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Lyle Little; a niece, Mindy Little-Stevenson; and a nephew, Donald DeYott.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Ridgeview Baptist Church, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to service time at the Church. Burial will follow at Golden Cemetery, Golden, Colorado.
