(From Simpson Funeral Home)Vicki L. Moritz, 67, Joplin, Missouri, died January 22, 2021 at Wildwood Community Village after a long illness.
Ms. Moritz was born June 24, 1953, in Jackson County, Missouri. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone in her life.
Vicki was a loving a person with a big heart, and lived her life with compassion for all who knew her. She was a very proud world traveler having visited many countries throughout her adult life, and loved traveling to exotic beaches.
She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Betty Cantrell of Carl Junction.Survivors include three children a son Robert Moritz and wife Madison, Springfield, MO, and their five children Alexus, Arabella, Schandera, Chance, and Joslyn. a daughter Traci Schacht and husband Mike of Carterville and their two children Jordan and Autumn. Another son Michael Moritz and wife Laurea of Carl Junction and their daughter Nattallee. A brother Freddie Cantrell of Carterville. She is also survived by the father of her children, Robert Moritz of Carl Junction. Vicki was well-loved and will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be at the Simpson Funeral home in Carl Junction, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
