(From Clark Funeral Home)Michael Lee Slawter, 50, Joplin, MO passed away January 18, 2021. He was born August 2, 1970 in Cleveland, OH to Henry Matthew and Diana Shirley (Wilson) Slawter.
Michael was a beautician. He enjoyed participating with the Joplin Little Theater group, where he cooked, styled the cast members’ hair, painted, and sang.
Michael is survived by two brothers, Bob Cumming and companion, Carling Wheeler, and Mark Cumming and wife, Lisa, all of Neosho. In addition, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Michelle Poulton.
No services are planned at this time.
