Michael Keaton

Michael Randy Keaton, Sr., 71, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away at the Arkansas State Veterans Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Michael was born on March 23, 1949 in Siloam Springs, the son of William H. Keaton and Loretta Davis Keaton. 

He married Margarita Sanchez on September 17, 1985. 








 
Michael had worked for the Allen’s Canning Company for over 30 years in the Maintenance Department. He was a man of strong Christian Faith who enjoyed studying the Bible. He loved taking care of his cows and riding his tractor, along with being a great storyteller who loved history and trivia. Michael served his country with honor in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Margarita “Maggie” Keaton of the home; four sons, Kenny Keaton and Kevin Keaton of Kansas, Oklahoma, Randy Keaton of St. Louis, Missouri, and Ivan Lopez of Centerton, Arkansas; three daughters, Sandra Lopez and Monica Polina and husband Eli all of Siloam Springs, and Thania Pearce and husband Todd of Springdale; four brothers, Larry Keaton of Anderson, Missouri, Mark Keaton of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Steve Keaton of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Jeff Keaton of Siloam Springs; and sixteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral home on Tuesday, February 2, 20201 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2:00pm. Due to state Covid regulations, attendance will be limited to 100 people and all will be required to wear a mask to attend. Burial will be held at the Yell Cemetery in the Robinson community with Military Honors.
