Steven Goodman

Steven Goodman, 79, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023. Steven was born June 27, 1944, in Berwyn, Illinois, to Earl Goodman and Eva Plummer. 

Steven was a master cabinet builder. He owned and operated Steve Goodman Cabinet Shop for many years. Steven was an avid Nascar fan and loved rebuilding Mopars. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Carthage.

Steven was united in marriage to Betty E. Jones in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1986; she survives.

Steven is survived by his wife, Betty Goodman; three sons, Steven Curtis Goodman (Anne) of Carthage, Missouri, John David Goodman of Carthage, Missouri, and Richard Eric Swindle (Kim) of York, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Bettina Dawn (Swindle) Hoeft of Gulf Breeze, Florida; two brothers, Robert Goodman (Connie) and Mark Goodman (Dixie), both of Carthage, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Eva Goodman.
