For the first time, I am going to be able to provide local advertising space on four of my blogs.
Beginning this week, local advertisers can place orders for spots on the Turner Report, Inside Joplin, Inside Joplin Obituaries, and Turner Resports.
Examples of the ad space and size can be seen in the right hand column.
A few facts for potential advertisers to know:
-The Turner Report reaches an average of 5,000 to 6,000 visitors daily and between 150,000 and 180,000 per month. Those numbers will generally increase during peak times for the blog, including the time just before the April elections when political coverage is in full swing. (A note to candidates for Joplin R-8 Board and Joplin City Council. Your advertisements on the Turner Report blogs will be seen by people who plan to vote and will not be buried in a pricey newspaper ad that few will ever read.)
-Inside Joplin has built its average up to 2,000 to 2,500 visitors daily.
-Inside Joplin Obituaries consistently reaches 1,500 visitors daily and lately, more often than not, has been between 2,000 and 2,500.
-Turner Resports averages about 500 visitors daily with the lion's share (pun intended) coming from supporters of Missouri Southern State University.
Special discounted rates will be offered to those who advertise on multiple blogs or who buy advertising for a longer period of time.
For information about the rates and how to place ads, you can e-mail rturner229@hotmail.com.
