(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Billie Alta Miller of Welch, OK passed from this life to her heavenly home Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 78.
Billie was born August 28, 1942 in Picher, OK to Raymond and Alma (Edwards) Burk. She had lived in Welch for the past 58 years and graduated from Picher High School. Billie was a faithful member of First Assembly of God in Miami, OK.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Charles Burk and 1 sister Leah Rae Sartin.
Survivors include her husband Joe Miller of the home, 2 sons Greg Miller and wife Darla of Welch, OK, Stan Miller and wife Jill of Webb City, MO, 1 daughter Melissa Tromsness of Miami, OK, 2 grandchildren Dawni Jo Orler and husband Joshua and Corey Miller and wife Patience and 5 great grandchildren Caleb Orler, Amia Jo Orler, Aurora Miller, Everlee Miller and Luca Miller.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2020 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Randy Frazier will officiate. Greg Miller, Stan Miller, Corey Miller, Joshua Orler, Jackie Miller and Dawni Jo Miller will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Williams’ Timberhill Cemetery, east of Welch, OK. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami.
