(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Danny Dee Trent, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2021, in his home at the age of 56.
He was born on November 11, 1964 in Lockwood, MO to Howard and Melba (Cooper) Trent. Danny graduated from Lockwood High School in 1983.
He was united in marriage to Cathy Hahn on February 20, 1987. Danny had previously worked at Wholesale Supply Company in Lockwood. He loved watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers. Danny also enjoyed watching the Price Is Right. He was a talented woodworker, and was known for his walking sticks.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Howard and Melba Trent; one brother, James Trent; and one sister, Peggy Trent.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Trent; three sons, Danny W. Dotson, Robert Dotson and Amanda Hicks, and Travis Trent and Rachael Mabary; one daughter, Crystal Radford and husband Benny; two brothers, Calvin Trent and Glenn Trent; fourteen grandchildren, Mason Dotson, Brittany Simms, Breanna Dotson, Brookelynn Dotson, Sylas Radford, Jaxon Radford, Tyler Mabary, Caden Mabary, Landon Flores, Blake Flores, Creedence Trent, Remington Trent, Damoni Hill, and Angel Ryder; numerous other children and grandchildren that called Danny “Poppa Toad” or “Uncle D”; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Potluck Dinner will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2021, in the Lockwood American Legion Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
