Harold Meredith

Harold Hueston Meredith was born November 12, 1940 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Gerald and Ruth (Lower) Meredith. He entered into rest on January 15, 2021 at his home, following a lengthy illness at the age of 80. 

Harold served in the Army National Guard in Kansas for ten years as a supply sergeant. In the 1970's he began working at Teledyne and worked in processing and sheet metal and retired in 2008. 

He enjoyed reading, gardening, playing golf, the color purple and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was a proud and active member of UAW #1070, serving often as a steward and committeeman. 







Harold and Joyce (Woodrum) were married on September 6, 1985 and she survives. 

 I addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Jerry Meredith, Robin Lundeen and husband, Steve, Kelli Needham and husband, Greg and Candace Watson and husband, Patrick; grandchildren, Wesley, Madison, Megan, Chad, Nick, Lexie, Lane, Darbi, Trevor, Riley, Owen, Carli and Scout; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Meredith and wife, Judy and Patrick 'Pat' Meredith and wife, Sharon and a sister-in-law, Geraldine. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Meredith and Michael Meredith.
