Diane Masters, age 67, of Carthage, Mo. passed away early Thursday December 18, 2014 at her home following an illness.
Diane was born on November 8, 1947 in Neosho, Mo., the daughter of Jack and Marybelle (Bowling) Flynn. She has been a lifetime area resident where she spent her days as a homemaker, caring for and loving her family. Diane was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Carterville, Mo.
She married Vernon Masters on June 24, 1966 in Webb City, Mo., he survives. Additional survivors include, 3 daughters, Kathy Cruze of Carthage, Mo., Tammy Jeffers and her husband Brock of Carthage, Wendy Masters of Neosho, Mo.; 5 sons, Roy Masters of Carthage, Kevin Masters and his wife Toni of Joplin, Mo., John Masters of Carthage, Kenny Masters and his wife Kristi of Russellville, Ar., Larry Masters and his wife Narissa of Carthage; 1 sister, Della Taylor and her husband Tom of Cana, W.V.; and 18 grandchildren. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Billy Masters.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at the Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home Chapel, Webb City, MO. Burial will follow at Bellfast Cemetery west of Neosho. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m.
