Gaylard Franklin Garrison, 88, Monett, MO, formerly of Neosho died Dec. 10, 2014 in Springfield, Missouri, following an illness.
Mr. Garrison was born Nov. 1, 1926 in Wheaton, Missouri, the son of Orville and Ada (Santee) Garrison. He worked as an equipment operator for General Motors for 35 years. He was a Baptized witness of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in 1962 and served as an elder for many years.
Gaylard married Frances (Kresyman) on May 8, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas and she preceded him in death on Oct. 15, 2014. He is survived by three children, Wanda Barton of Monett; Glenn Garrison of Neosho and Steven Garrison and wife, Terrie of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, Cassandra, Matthew Kyle, Michael Francis, Tony Nichols and Tamara Gaines; five great grandchildren; a brother, Joe Garrison of Kansas City, KS and sister, Cordella Kresyman of Monett, MO.
