Peggy Jo Pierce, 48, Carthage, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin. Peggy was a homemaker. Peggy Jo Largen was born August 31, 1966 in Clinton, Missouri to Dwight Largen and Jewell (Ford) Largen. She was a graduate of Golden City High School, Golden City, MO, Class of 1984. She married Bill Pierce on August 15, 2003; he survives. Peggy was a member of the Covenant World Outreach Church, Joplin.
Additional survivors include two sons; Dustin Wayne Gaddis, Carthage and Aaron Pierce, Carthage; two sisters, Diane Christine Arthur, Webb City, MO and Denise (Richard) Mobley, Wills Point, Texas; two grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by one son, Challis Gaddis, one sister, Sandra Kay Rietz, and one brother, Garry Largent.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 1:30 – 2:00 PM with a service following at 2:00 PM in the Knell Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Steve Finney will officiate. Online condolences may be expressed at www.knellmortuary.com.
