Thomas Parmley

Thomas Joe Parmley, 89, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 5:30PM, December 26, 2014 at Freeman Neosho Hospital after an illness.

Thomas Joe Parmley was born September 14, 1925 in Newtonia, MO the son of Thomas and Nellie (Henery) Parmley. Joe lived in the Seneca area most of his life. He worked years for Schmidt Construction in Miami, OK. He was a carpenter and loved the outdoors. Thomas Joe Parmley married Lilly Alice Fritchey February 24, 1945 and she preceded him in death December 25, 1989.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Chester and husband Don, Seneca; two sons, Bill Parmley and wife Joan and Bob Parmley all of Seneca; 5 grandchildren; Duane Chester, Brenda Adams, Donna Françisco, Karrie Thiel, Karla Rickert; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; one sister Juanita Williams, Neosho, MO and a host of nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by one son Burl Parmley; 3 brothers, Henery Parmley, Georgia Parmley and Johnny Parmley and 3 sisters, Ella Fulkerson, Ethel York and Ilene Butterfield.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Seneca Cemetery with Truman Brady officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. The family will be at the home of Bill Parmley
