Nadine Marie Shaver Sherman, age 91, Joplin, passed away on Tuesday, December 02, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital.
Nadine was born November 24, 1923 in Kiowa, Kansas, daughter of the late Lonnie LeMasters and Leona Caroline Ray LeMasters.
Nadine was a home maker, a member of Central Christian Center of Joplin, and was a devout prayer warrior who read her bible daily.
In addition to her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Dale Sherman in 1996.
Survivors include her children, Martha Baker of Billings, Missouri, Bob Shaver and wife Linda of Grand Junction, Colorado, Dewey Shaver and wife Sandra of Joplin, Bernice McKenzie of Baxter Springs, Kansas, David Sherman and wife Dana of Joplin, Jake Sherman of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Tom Sherman of Claremore, Oklahoma; .sisters, Shirley Kaufman of Pineville, Missouri, Carolyn Houpt and husband Don of Joplin, and Waneta Dickson and husband Roy of Urbana, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews;
Memorial services will be Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Central Christian Center with Rev. Doug Wilkerson officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
