Michael Gregory Faul, Sr., age 69, of Joplin, Mo., passed away on Wednesday December 17, 2014, at Freeman Hospital.
Michael was born on March 25, 1945 in Webb City, the son of Emery Faul and Helen Chester. He has been a lifetime area resident. He served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. He worked for twenty years as a machinist for Vicker’s. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City, Mo. He loved the outdoors, trapping, fishing and hunting were his passion.
Michael is survived by five sons, Michael G. Faul, Jr, and his wife Erica, Carterville, Mo., James Faul, Miami, Ok., Charles Faul, Joplin, Jason Faul, and his wife Heather, Fairland, Ok., and Nathan Faul and his wife Jennifer, Joplin; his mother, Helen Chester, Joplin; one sister, Karen Long, Joplin; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Heath Mooneyham and Pastor Tim Talley will officiate. Burial will be in Osborne Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family 4-5 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
