Wendy Goodman Goad, age 49, of Joplin, Mo. passed away at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home. Wendy was born August 24, 1965 in Joplin and was a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of College Heights Christian School and attended the Nashville, Mo. Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Amber Montgomery and husband Jesse, Joplin, a son, Ariah Runnells and wife Nina, Joplin, her parents, John and Linda Goodman, rural Oronogo, Mo., two brothers, Trace Goodman and wife Jennifer, Placentia, Ca., and Danny Goodman, Irvine, Ca. and four grandchildren; Rowan, Aliyah, Gabriel, and Raegan Montgomery.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Nashville Christian Church with Carolyn Litz and Marjorie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Nashville Cemetery. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Church. Memorial contributions are requested to American Rehabilitation Ministry in care of the Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
