Leonard Clem Manz departed from this life on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 after an extended illness.
He was born in Neosho, Missouri on September 6, 1934. Clem graduated from Diamond High School, Diamond, MO and continued to live in Diamond until his death. Clem was a devoted husband to Reda, the love of his life and an uncle to his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed tending to his cattle and farm as well as his car business. During family visits you would find Clem riding the tractor with the children. Clem was an active member of Diamond Christian Church as well as the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Reda, his sister Dorothy Bailey as well as his four brothers: Sherman, Paul, Bill and Glenn Manz. Clem is survived by his daughter, Jacquelyn O’Hara of Louisiana and his ten nieces and nephews: Chris Ann Kent, Springfield, MO ; Susan Marinick, Hot Springs, AR; Deborah Manz-Slaman, San Dimas, CA; Dr William Bailey, Tulsa, OK; Sharon Manz, Springfield, MO; Larry Manz, Fenton, MO; Melinda Linss, Bend OR; Michelle Gleason, Olalla, WA; Sandi Armstrong, Edmund, OK; and Michael Manz, Joplin, MO. His family and wonderful friends will dearly miss Clem.
