Phyllis Stinnett

Phyllis R. Stinnett, age 88, Webb City, passed away at 1 A.M. Monday, December 29, 2014 at Freeman Hospital after an extended illness.

Phyllis was born September 20, 1926 on the family farm in Jasper, Mo. ninth of eleven children to George W. Probert and Della G. Harris Probert. She was a life long resident of Jasper County.

She worked as a bank teller at the former Merchants and Miners / Mercantile Bank in Webb City from 1965 until retiring in 1990. She enjoyed all her customers and co workers, who in turn enjoyed her quick wit and fun loving personality.

Phyllis always looked forward to spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include: daughter, Jana Hatten, Rocklin, Ca.; son, David Stinnett, Webb City; grandson, Joel Stinnett, Joplin; sister, Winona Probert, Joplin and brother, Dale Probert, Carthage.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wildwood Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Morris officiating.
