Juanita Violet Damer Copple, age 94 of Carl Junction, MO, passed away at 8:11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her home.
Born June 11, 1920 in Newton County Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Mark F. Damer and Emma F. Buchanon Damer and lived in the Joplin area most of her lifetime. A homemaker, she was a member of Blendville Christian Church.
On October 1, 1939 she married Clyde Russell Copple in Columbus, KS. He preceded her in death February 3, 1993.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Copple and wife Doris of Joplin, Mike Copple and wife Elfriede of Golden, British Columbia, Canada; two daughters, Nancy Kysar of Highlands Ranch, CO, Joyce King and husband Jim of Newport News, VA; seven grandchildren, Terry Copple of Joplin, Angela Copple of Lexington, KY, James King of Newport, RI, David King of Alexandria, VA, Jeremy King of Baltimore, MD, Don Copple of Dillon, MT and Dan Copple of Whitefish, MT; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Vicky Copple of Carl Junction and Shirley Copple of Whitefish, MT.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Mortuary with Rev. Joe Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Mike Copple, Terry Copple, Miles Copple, Brycen Miner, James King, Jr., and David King serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
