Martha E. McDonald, 81, Granby, formerly of Neosho, died Dec. 21, 2014 at Granby House Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness.
Martha was born Aug. 7, 1933 in Sullivan, IN and moved to the area in 1983 and had worked as a payroll clerk in the trucking industry before retirement. She was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.
Martha and Gerald ‘Bill’ McDonald were married in April, 1966 at Indianapolis, IN and he preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 1985. She is survived by a stepson, James McDonald and wife, Donna of Brazil, IN; three grandchildren, Lisa McDonald, Connie Barron and husband, Kenny and James McDonald, II and wife, Michelle and five great grandchildren, Jaylene Kehrt, Austin Barron, Baylee Barron, James McDonald, III and Jackson McDonald. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Karl F. and Marguerite (Owens) Heidenreich and two brothers, Robert Heidenreich and Carl Heidenreich.
