E. C. Beard

Mr. Ernest Cleo “E.C.” Beard, 89, of Southwest City, Missouri went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 11, 2021. E.C. was born on March 10, 1931 in Carman, Oklahoma born to the late, Clarence and Mary (Grubb) Beard. 

On July 18, 1954 he married Lesteree Cook in Tulsa, Oklahoma and to this union two children were born. He was a member of the Southwest City Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lesteree Beard; a son, Paul Beard; grandson, Michael Beard; siblings, Earl, Clarence and Dorothy.

E.C. is survived by a son, Ernie Beard of Amarillo, TX; two grandchildren, Dustin Dye of Owasso, Oklahoma, Jessica Wallace of Raleigh, North Carolina; great grandchildren, Alexander Dye and Allani and Cicily Wallace and Addison Beard; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Funeral services for Mr. E.C. Beard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Southwest City Cemetery with Pastor Rob Grimm officiating.
