Ed Holle

Edward Carl “Ed” Holle, age 67, passed away January 1, 2021, at Freeman Hospital, Joplin.

Ed was born on July 10, 1953 in Monett, Missouri to the late Walter Holle and Virginia Dawson. 

 He was raised in farming from a young age and graduated from high school in Pierce City, Missouri, in 1971, and proudly served his country in the Missouri National Guard, #203 Pierce City. Ed was a machinist by trade working for Evan & Associates, Big Boys Balancing, TA Machine and Home Depot throughout his career.








Ed was very talented as a machinist and loved to tinker and work in his shop. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed science fiction. One of his favorite things was working on restoring an old tractor, something he did until he was no longer able. Ed will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him and especially his four special cats.

Ed married Jeanette Sue “Susie” Sadler on June 22, 1985, in Joplin, Missouri. She survives at the home.

Additional survivors include children, Joe Holle and wife, Kim of Joplin, Missouri, Jennifer Coulter of Palm Bay, Florida, Teresa Sprague and husband, Ricky of Reeds, Missouri, Brian Waldo and wife, Nekia of Joplin, Missouri, Chad Waldo and Christy of Joplin, Missouri; sisters, Debbie Porter and husband Tom, Mary Graves and husband, Steve; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary with Pastor Charles French officiating. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Parker Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
