(From Clark Funeral Home)Jewell Dean McFadyen, 89, Neosho, MO passed away January 15, 2021. She was born September 19, 1931 in Fairview, MO to Ethel (Richards) and William Virgil Mahurin.
Jewell was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Pierce City schools. She was a homemaker, who raised her children as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved westerns, was a John Wayne fan, and loved gospel music. Jewell was a member of Community Chapel Church. She was saved at the age of 19 and served the Lord Jesus until her last breath.
Jewell and Robert A. McFadyen were married January 7, 1958; he preceded her in death on February 28, 2005.
Jewell is survived by seven children: Ruth Miller, Ralph Edward Lawson, Alica Blevins, Robert McFadyen, Mark McFadyen, Craig Lee McFadyen, and Claude Lawson; one sister, Wilma Holcome; twenty grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 34 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William Lawson; one daughter, Judy Heath; and three grandchildren, Michael Lawson, Maycen Coberly, and Mickey McFadyen.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 19 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho with interment following at New Salem Cemetery, Neosho.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Lee, Jerrod McFadyen, Matthew McFadyen, Sheena Eastburn, Rachel Feagans, and Forest Lawson. A time of visitation will be held Monday, January 18 at Clark Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm
