Robert Haas

Mr. Robert Eugene Haas, Sr., 80, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2021, at his residence.

Robert entered this life on October 29, 1940, and grew up in Lenoir, North Carolina. He is the son of the late Henry and Bertie (Alspaugh) Haas. 

On March 21, 1959, in San Diego, California, he was united in marriage to Lucy Joyce Lawnus and together they shared nearly sixty years before her passing on March 12, 2020. They resided in California before moving to Machesney Park, Illinois. 








Robert retired in 1998 from Chrysler with over thirty years of employment. He enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing and golfing. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Lucy Haas; and two children, Ina Hodson and Floyd Haas.

Robert is survived by one son, Robert E. Haas, Jr. and wife, Christina, of Loves Park, Illinois; a daughter-in-law, Malonia Haas of Noel; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Moon and Rita Taylor, both of the state of Tennessee; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Union Cemetery near Longview with Pastor Marilyn O'Brien officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
