(From Parker Mortuary)Albert William Caldwell, age 90, of Carl Junction, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Webb City.
Albert, son of the late Johnnie and Pearl (Beck) Caldwell, was born on August 25, 1931 in Comache, OK. After high school, Albert enlisted in the United States Air Force. He honorably served his country for 20 years before retiring as a decorated Korean War Veteran.
During his time in the military, he met the love of his life, Mary Ann Price. Together they were united in marriage on December 29, 1967 in Santa Maria, CA. On September 15, 2021, Mary preceded him in death. Albert was a loving, caring, devoted husband and father, who always provided and put his family first. His kind hearted gentleness will be missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Caldwell, of Carl Junction; one daughter, Jill Weeks, and her husband, David, of Webb City; three sons, Dean Caldwell, and his wife, Dolly, of Oklahoma, James Caldwell, of Carl Junction, and Richard Caldwell, of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Josh Harms, and his wife, Keesha, Faith Harms, Nick Harms, Jacob Harms, Keelin Caldwell, Kaili Caldwell, April Caldwell, Matthew Caldwell, Taylor Caldwell, Merlin Caldwell, Amanda Caldwell, and Daniel Caldwell, Brittney Caldwell and brothers Mathew and Steven Caldwell; and three great grandchildren, Vera Chappell, Gwen Armentrout and Eden Caldwell. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Caldwell and Alan Caldwell.
Private family services will be held at a later date at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
