(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mr. Kennith Benjamin “Kenny” Fry,76, of Neosho, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday morning, November 14, 2021, in the comfort of his home.
Kenny entered this life on April 9, 1945, in Commerce, Oklahoma, son of the late D.S. and Sarah (Watkins) Fry. He was raised and attended school in Neosho, Missouri. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving as a Paratrooper.
After receiving his honorable discharge, Kenny returned home to Neosho. He worked as a concrete finisher for many years before his twenty-year employment with Able Body in Joplin. He enjoyed junking, woodworking and metal fabrication projects. Kenny was of the Nazarene faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Barbara; a son, David Fry; and three siblings, Danny Fry, Paul Fry and Betty Tyer.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Lynda Fry of the home; two stepsons, Gerald Anderson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cody Johnson and wife, Misti, of Neosho; two stepdaughters, Chiree Baker and husband, Garry, of Neosho and Christy Sanders and husband, Craig, of Linwood, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Jerry Fry of Seneca, Jimmy Fry of Mulkey Town, Illinois, William Fry of Diamond and D.J. Fry of Oronogo; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Oronogo Cemetery with Jeremy Workman officiating. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday and Thursday from 9-5:00 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri.
