(From Ferry Funeral Home)David Ray Bogart, of Sheldon, MO died at home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the age of 66.
He was born October 7, 1955, in Nevada, MO.
He was a Retired Union Carpenter of 31 years, returning to his home of 39 years in Sheldon and spending time with his loves of family, fishing, hunting, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl of 47 years and his children Kimberly and Byron Walker of Pocahontas, IL, Tim Bogart of Leechburg, PA. His two grandchildren Kylea Walker of Indianapolis IN and Noah Walker of Warrensburg, MO. His Mother Maudie Bogart of Nevada, MO. His siblings Ralph (Sally) Bogart of Sheldon MO, Charlie Bogart of Sheldon MO, Wilma Jean Lacey of Lamar MO, Paul (Suzanne) Bogart of Sheldon MO, Robert (Volantie) Bogart of South Dakota, Glenda (Leroy) Fleener of Waynesville MO, Steven Bogart of Clinton MO, Linda Kay (David) Hart of Lamar MO, Patty (Jack) Stupca of Bullhead City AZ, Nancy Wright of Lamar MO, Terry (Melanie) Bogart of Nevada MO, numerous nieces and nephews, and his dog Duke.
He was preceded in death by his father Winford Bogart and his sister Connie Ruth.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions to be made in care of Ferry Funeral Home to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
