(From Parker Mortuary)Cynthia Ann Kopriva, age 68, of Joplin, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 in Diamond.
Cynthia, daughter of the late Benjamin and Alice (Fisher) Green, was born on April 28, 1953 in West Covina, CA.
She was united in marriage to David Kopriva in Claremont, CA on March 16, 1985. Together they relocated to Joplin in 1990 to make their home. She then went to work for St. John’s Hospital, continuing until her retirement with Mercy Hospital.
Cynthia was a devoted wife and mother. She had a true compassionate heart that always placed others needs before her own. To know Cynthia was to love her and presence will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, David Kopriva, of Joplin; daughter, Amanda Perryman, and her husband, Michael, of Longmont, Colorado; grandsons, Austin Burns, Brenden Burns, and Cole Burns; and two brothers, Mark Green, of California and Barry Green, of Oklahoma. In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Waters.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin with a time of visitation to follow.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
