(From Parker Mortuary)Terry Gene Deremo, age 63, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Freeman West.
Terry was born March 31, 1958 in Neosho, Missouri, son of the late Herbert Leland Deremo and Vivian F. (Johnson) Deremo. He grew up in Joplin and graduated from Memorial High School.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving 15 years including deployment in Desert Storm.
After many years as a diesel mechanic, Terry made a career change and was employed at Indigo Sky Casino in heat and air maintenance until his retirement.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a sister, Vicky L. Wright.
Survivors include his wife: Barbara (Willey) Deremo whom he married January 9, 2006; sons, Robert Baldwin of Joplin, Bryan Baldwin (Katy) of Joplin; daughter, Kristina Nelson (August) also of Joplin; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Randy Deremo (Jeanie) of Joplin; three sons, Justin Deremo, Logan Deremo, and Chad Deremo; and several extended family members.
Memorial graveside committal of ashes with full military honors will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Parker Mortuary on Sunday, December 5th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
