(From Parker Mortuary)Joseph Montgomery “JoeJoe” McClelland, age 62 of Stark City, Missouri, passed away due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
Joe was born September 23, 1959 in Joplin, Missouri, to the late Robert R. McClelland, Sr. and Marva C. (Parsons) McClelland. Joe graduated from McDonald County High School in 1976, and furthered his education at St. Mary’s College with an Associate’s Degree in business.
Joe was an entrepreneur. He successfully expanded his asphalt repair and sealing company ASAP Paving over the last 20 years. He was a hard worker and well respected in the industry. Joe was a gifted drummer and had a love for all music and was an avid pool player. He had a servant’s heart and never met a stranger. Joe was generous to a fault and was willing to help others in any way he could. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert R. McClelland, Jr. and Johnny B. McClelland.
Joe is lovingly survived by his daughter, Emma Cole; brother, Bill Johnson; nephew, Sean McClelland; two fur babies, Barnie and Reveille; together with additional nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Tim Darch officiating. Interment will follow at Milo Cemetery in Nevada, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
