(From Clark Funeral Home)Karla D. Cooper was born September 2, 1964 in Thousand Oaks, California, the daughter of Arnold Allen and Amy Jane (Ogburn) Plumier. She entered into rest on November 19, 2021 in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 57.
Karla moved to the area from Oregon and was a graduate of East Newton High School. She had worked at Granby Garment Factory and then in management for Sunbeam-Jarden and GI Sports.
Her great joy was being with her family and taking care of everyone and she enjoyed baking. She was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Karla and Russell G. Cooper were married on August 6, 2003 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and he survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Nicholas Shawn Hutchens and Jamie Hendricks of Stella; two daughters, Melissa Lee Cooper and Hailey Dawn Cooper of Neosho; her father, Arnold Allen Plumier; one brother, Arnold Scott Plumier of Stella and ten grandchildren, Draegan Lucas Kerns, Evan Hutchens, Jersey Larsen, Kelly Larsen, Violet Larsen, Taylor Larsen, Cortland Larsen, Belial Carrera, Melanie Ray Launias and Memphis Ryan Launias.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Amy Jane Plumier.
