Betsy Padgett

Elizabeth K. (Betsy) Padgett, 67, Joplin, MO, passed into eternal rest November 24, 2021 at the Kansas City Hospice House after a sudden illness.

Elizabeth Kay Shafer was born November 7, 1954 in Webb City, MO the daughter of Theodore and Mary Lou (Brown) Shafer. She was a 1972 graduate of Diamond High School. She then went to cosmetology school in Joplin. 










In later years Betsy then went to Radiology School in Tulsa, Ok and became a Radiology Tech for Tulsa Bone and Joint for several years. She enjoyed reading, going to the lake and spending time with family. She was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include her parents Theodore and Mary Lou Shafer, Wyandotte; sons Brian Crouch (Tiffany), Webb City, Adam Crouch (Jennifer), Oklahoma City, OK and Casey Simmons (Krissie), Joplin, MO; sisters, Gloria Christensen (Skip), Arvada, CO and Sheri Loncarich (Weldon) Wyandotte, OK; 7 grandchildren,
McKenzie Crouch, Marina Crouch, Lyndon Crouch, Ethan Crouch, Daniel Simmons, Sophia Simmons and Bryson Marshall; Three nieces and one nephew.

The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. To honor her wishes the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
