Steve Gamble

Steven Mark Gamble, age 61, Joplin, passed away on Saturday,
November 20, 2021 at Solace House of Joplin after a courageous battle with cancer.

Steve was born August 17, 1960 in Joplin, son of the late Gary and
Sondra (Samples) Gamble. He grew up in Joplin and graduated from
Parkwood High School in 1978 before attending Missouri Southern State University Police Academy. He worked in sales before becoming owner/operator of Jim Bob’s Steaks & Ribs in Joplin.







After the tornado in May of 2011, they relocated the restaurant to a location on South Rangeline. He was active in the community and kept in touch with many of his childhood friends. He will be greatly missed by many.

Survivors include his children, Brandy Jackson (Tim) of Olathe, Kansas, Payton Skocy (Kevin) of Neosho, and Parker Gamble of Joplin; sister, Gail Gamble (Cara Cilent) of Cedar Grove, New Jersey; brother, Gary Greg Gamble (Debbie) of Joplin; grandchildren, Ezra and Lorelei Skocy of Neosho, and Arieah and Aaisyn Jackson of Olathe; niece, Stacy Gamble of Joplin.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021at 2:00 p.m. in Mount Hope Cemetery next to his parents.
