(From Ozark Funeral Home)Jack Rogers, 82, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born on July 12, 1939 in Bunker Hill, Missouri to the late, Albert and Hazel (Hodson) Rogers. He owned and operated the Anderson Barber Shop in Anderson, Missouri for over 40 years and barbered for over 55 years. Jack enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and was an avid reader of Louis L'amour Western Books. He lived a dedicated Christian life, loved the Lord and always helped those around him.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Betty Jo Rogers of the home; five daughters, Laura, Bonnie, Julie, Julia, Denea; a son, David of Anderson, Missouri; five grandsons; three granddaughters; two great grandsons and three great granddaughters; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Jack.
Funeral services for Jack will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Reverend Dennis Bergen will officiate. The burial will follow at Tracy Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Those honoring Jack’s Life by serving as pallbearers are David Roark, David Gunner Roark, Hunter Roark, Gordie Hartel, Jake Hartel, Michael Shaddox and Brandon Bales.
